Oregon Desert Trail

Bend, OR—The Oregon Natural Desert Association (ONDA) exists to protect, defend and restore Oregon’s high desert. Their dream is to see millions of acres of beautiful and ecologically vital public lands permanently protected and home to diverse populations of wildlife. Working in partnership with more than 4,000 members and supporters, ONDA is the only group dedicated exclusively to the preservation of Oregon’s high desert. An ONDA initiative more than three-years in the making, the 800-mile Oregon Desert Trail traverses some of the most spectacular natural areas of the state’s dry side, including Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge, Steens Mountain and the Owyhee Canyonlands.
